What's in the picnic bag?
To make the experience simple, practical, and enjoyable, we prepare a bag containing all the necessary materials: brushes of various sizes, pencils for your sketches, masking tape, and a beautiful picnic blanket so you can settle in comfortably.
Pick up at the café:
Before heading to the park, stop by the café to choose your ceramic piece to paint from a beautiful selection made by local artists: mug, plate, serving tray, matcha bowl, jewelry dish...
We will complete your kit with a mason jar filled with water, brown paper to wipe your brushes, and six jars of special ceramic paint to create your designs.
And while you're there, why not complete the experience with a meal, snack, or beverage from our menu? There are summer options for all tastes. Here are a few suggestions:
To eat:
Our farro salad: farro, Quebec asparagus, feta cheese, raisins, dill, baby spinach, lemon vinaigrette, and roasted nuts.
Our goat cheese ciabatta: apples, arugula, spicy honey, and walnuts.
Our smoked tofu ciabatta with dragon sauce and lime & jalapeño sauerkraut.
To drink:
Homemade iced tea
Iced latte or cold brew
Matcha lemonade
Rhubarb lemonade
...and much more!
Some practical information to know:
The activity is available on weekends by reservation, and on weekdays without reservation, depending on availability.
The price varies between $38 and $54 depending on the piece chosen.
A deposit of $25 per person is required at the time of reservation.
At the end, bring everything back to the café and fill out your firing form so we can fire your piece. You will be able to pick it up a few weeks later.
In short, painting ceramics in the park is an opportunity to slow down, create, share a good time... and leave with a unique piece of art! It's a great idea for a summer date, an outing with friends, or even an experience gift to offer thanks to our gift cards!
Here's what it looks like!
