What's in the kit?
Each kit includes everything you need to make your own pieces at home, even if you're a beginner: 1.5 kg of ready-to-use clay (enough for 2-3 pieces), a small pot of slip, a needle, a wooden tool, an engraving tool, two wooden sticks, a sponge, two brushes, 6 small pots of colored underglazes, and of course, a creative guide to walk you through the process and inspire you.
The process
Make yourself comfortable and immerse yourself in a creative atmosphere! You can find inspiration in the information guide included in the box: it contains a few examples of pieces to make as well as tutorials to guide you. Alternatively, let yourself be carried away by scrolling through Pinterest until you find the piece of your dreams!
Let your imagination run wild: whether you want to create a small flower-shaped jewelry plate or a whimsical candle holder, anything is possible. Once your pieces are shaped, let them dry, then have fun painting them to personalize them even more!
What next?
When you've finished making your pieces, simply bring them back to Les Faiseurs. We'll take care of glazing and firing them, and your pieces will be ready in about 4 to 6 weeks, ready to be used in your everyday life and to beautify your home!
The glaze we use is food-safe and your creations can be washed in the dishwasher without any worries.
