This November, sink into the blues... but not into inaction! Let yourself be surprised by the unexpected and deeply sensory union of pottery and poetry with our two workshops presented in collaboration with the Montreal Book Fair.
The second workshop: Reading evening “A meeting of the senses”
An astonishing literary moment, which combines poetic readings and an introduction to pottery.
In a pottery studio, the voices of poets Rosie Desbiens and Nelly Desmarais will resonate as your hands explore the material. There's no performance here, just the raw pleasure of feeling: the texture of the clay, the warmth of the words, the slowness of a suspended moment. A festive, intimate evening to reconnect with your body, the earth, each other, and the beauty of the lyrics.
Saturday, November 15, between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m., at the Grand Atelier Les Faiseurs
Please note: this is not a traditional pottery initiation, but rather a chance to play with clay and explore the material. There will be two participants per potter's wheel.

- Thoroughly clean the equipment you will use during lessons
Firing of the pieces
Firing of the pieces
You will receive an email approximately 6 weeks after your workshop, when your ceramic piece will be ready. As our emails often end up in the spams, add us to your contacts so you don't miss it!
It may happen that a piece breaks during firing, because ceramics is a complex art that involves several risks throughout the process. If your ceramic did not survive the process, unfortunately we do not offer replacement or re-course. The introductory course is focused on the experience of pottery, not on the result.
